HOW DOES IT WORK
AND HOW LONG DO RESULTS LAST?

Illusion brows delivers pigment to the upper layers of the skin using a super fine machine needle that the artist uses to create pigmented hair strokes. This allows for more precise hairstroke detailing than a traditional blade.

The results last up to 1 - 3 years depending on your skin type! Semipermanent makeup very slowly fades. When ready you can colour reboot your brows, make any changes (style, size, colour) or simply let them fade away.
WHAT IS THE HEALING PROCESS LIKE?

After your treatment your new brows will slightly darken as the surface level oxidises. Due to the unique and minimal trauma of the Illusion Brows technique and the aftercare routine we supply you with there is practically no scabbing, unlike microblading. Your brows will just look slightly darker for the first week.

After your treatment your new brows will slightly darken as the surface level oxidises. After this first week the oxidised layer covering your hairstrokes will shed and for the next couple of weeks your brows will seem lighter than expected for 2/3 weeks until the colour develops. This is completely normal as the newly healed skin is more opaque for a short time.
IS IT A TATTOO? WILL IT HURT? HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT TAKE?

Unlike a tattoo, Illusion Brows are semi-permanent. The treatment uses specialised pigments rather than tattoo ink and they aren't placed in the deeper layers of the skin where they can permanently remain. This is essential as it allows the client to change their brows with changing hair colour, fashion trends and age.

The super fine machine needle causes less skin trauma than microblading resulting in faster healing. Most clients feel very little or no pain and wonder what they worried about in the first place!
